On October 12th, the 9th ISO/TC256 Annual Conference was successfully concluded in Guangzhou. This annual meeting lasted for three days. The meeting reviewed the resolutions and minutes of the 8th annual meeting, listened to and discussed the progress of existing international standard projects in various working groups, evaluated new projects planned for approval, discussed the liaison report of the related technical committee, and held a special meeting to further strengthen standardization activities in member countries. The resolution and minutes of this annual meeting were formed through the voting of member states.

At this year's annual meeting, the Chinese experts attending participated in all working group discussions, spoke actively and put forward many constructive suggestions. At the same time, the four international standard projects that the Chinese side is responsible for have received strong support from domestic and foreign experts present, and have all entered the next voting stage, achieving fruitful results. The "Measurement of Silicon Hydroxyl Density of Gaseous Silicon Dioxide" jointly developed by Guangzhou Jibisheng Technology Industry Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Huifu Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Beijing Physical and Chemical Analysis and Testing Center has successfully entered the official project approval stage. This is also the second time that Guangzhou Jibisheng Technology Industry Co., Ltd. has taken the lead in formulating international standards after leading the development of ISO18473-3:2018 "Gas phase silica for silicone rubber".

The International Standard Technical Committee for Pigments, Dyes, and Organic Pigments (ISO/TC256) was established in 2010. Currently, 98 ISO standards have been issued, and 13 are under development. There are currently 12 active member states and 18 observed member states.

The 9th Annual Conference of ISO/TC256 is hosted by the Technical Committee of ISO/TC256 "Pigments, Dyes and Physical Pigments" and the National Standardization Administration of China. It is hosted by Guangzhou Jibisheng Technology Industry Co., Ltd., CNOOC Changzhou Coatings and Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Huifu Research Institute Co., Ltd. More than 100 leaders from national and local standard management departments, as well as domestic and foreign experts, attended the meeting.
